About the Consultant Role
This is a long-term permanent employment with Randstad Life Sciences, with the first assignment at the client being full-time.

Responsibilities
Work Tasks and Responsibilities
In the role of laboratory engineer, your primary focus will be on laboratory chemical analysis work and quality assurance. You will primarily work with quality control of the company's raw materials and use a variety of chemical analysis methods, including chromatographic techniques (such as HPLC/GC).
All work will be in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and your tasks will include careful documentation, some document and standard routine (SOP) updates, and participation in laboratory improvement work.
Examples of responsibilities:
• Perform and document chemical analyses on raw materials according to applicable methods.
• Review and evaluate analysis results.
• Manage instrument responsibility, including calibration and troubleshooting.
• Participate in improvement work regarding laboratory methods and routines.
Qualifications
Your Profile
We are seeking someone who enjoys working methodically and carefully in a regulatory environment. You have a strong understanding of quality work and a passion for chemistry.
Requirements for the position:
• University degree in science (e.g., BSc/MSc/Engineering) with a focus on chemistry, analytical chemistry, or equivalent.
• Practical experience in laboratory work, preferably from a QC operation.
• Good knowledge and practical experience working according to GMP.
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience with specific chromatographic methods (such as HPLC or GC) and other common analysis instruments.
As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and have good collaboration skills. To succeed in the role, you must be able to work independently, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. As a consultant, it is also important that you are flexible, curious, and have a positive attitude towards new challenges and work environments.
