About the Position
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will perform large-scale column packing experiments, participate in R&D projects and laboratory experiments, and prepare and set up equipment and workstations, all aimed at supporting our client's Start-to-Finish department.
About You
Formal Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a college degree in chemistry, biotechnology, or biology, along with several years of work experience in a laboratory. Alternatively, you may have high school competence and many years of experience in a laboratory environment. It is important that you are proficient in the Office package and have very good skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. The role requires you to work independently and have the ability to plan, execute, and document experiments. We also want someone who loves working in a laboratory environment!
Meritorious Qualifications
It is advantageous if you have experience with large-scale laboratory tasks, especially in large-scale column packing. Knowledge of ÄKTA chromatography systems and system development is also beneficial. Personal qualities such as being a team player, results-oriented, having the ability to take responsibility for tasks, and being detail-oriented are important for success in the role. Your ability to contribute to continuous improvement is greatly appreciated.
