Then the temporary position as a night laboratory technician in the Titro/Spektro group might be perfect for you!
Environment Night Analysis consists of three different work groups, and we are now seeking a temporary replacement for our Titro/Spektro group for the Linköping laboratory's night analysis operations.
Primary tasks include sample preparation and chemical analysis, such as pH, alkalinity measurement, BOD, and nutrient analysis. This involves instrument calibration and basic maintenance, sample splitting, preparation and analysis, as well as result evaluation and reporting.
A significant portion of our night operations involves handling express samples and time-critical water analyses.
As we work in small teams, it is crucial that you are reliable and can handle the challenges of night work. Good team cohesion is essential, with the understanding that while much of the work is primarily individual, it is a team effort to collectively complete the shift's tasks.
Introduction and training for work procedures/instruments will be provided by a designated mentor.
Part of our operations are considered critical to society as we analyze drinking water.
Your Profile
You enjoy working both independently and in a group and show interest and understanding towards others.
You have a good ability to prioritize, make decisions, and take responsibility for your tasks.
You are good at taking initiative and actively seeking improvements in your work.
You also have a strong ability to follow instructions and work according to organizational guidelines. You work systematically and efficiently under high workload and can plan and structure your work while being comfortable working within set timeframes.
It is important that you have good self-awareness and can both give and receive constructive feedback.
You consider it important to meet customer requirements and needs and are quality-conscious in your work.
Requirements
A requirement to work with us is having good Swedish language skills (minimum B2 according to the European reference framework), both spoken and written.
• Natural science high school competence or equivalent experience/education
• Office package and IT proficiency

Details and Timeline
The position is a full-time (100%) temporary role from January 2026 to the end of December 2026.
Working hours are exclusively night shifts.
We apply a 2-week schedule with a 4-day work week, totaling 34 hours per week.
You will work alternating Monday-Thursday / Tuesday-Friday with working hours: 21:30-06:30.
