About this role

**Workplace Description** Are you ready for a greater challenge? We are now looking for a solution architect to join our team on a journey to streamline the operational support of the Swedish Police Authority. Here, you will develop alongside engaged and friendly colleagues, gaining lifelong experiences while your work contributes to increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden. As a solution architect, you will belong to the National Support Systems group, which works with systems related to, among other things, skills development, internal communication, and finance, both custom-developed and purchased. The group has several major development assignments ahead and is also in an exciting phase where, for example, the work with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is set to scale up to support multiple operational areas within the Police Authority. Our workplaces are located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, and you have the opportunity to work from home two days a week when work allows. In the National Support Systems group, we offer you: - A challenging and developmental assignment in a large organization - A balance between work and private life through, among other things, the possibility of some remote work, flexible working hours, and good conditions for training and recovery - One of the best occupational pensions on the market - The chance to contribute to increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden **Job Description:** As a solution architect, you will work with development teams, operations, and the business to ensure that our technical choices support both current and future needs in the development, management, and maintenance of our systems. **Main Responsibilities:** - Serve as a technical advisor and support in architecture and development matters - Participate in requirements and risk analysis as well as investigations - Translate business requirements into technical solutions or choices regarding purchased systems - Ensure that solutions comply with security requirements, performance, and cost-effectiveness - Collaborate with our security departments and other groups - Design solutions with container platforms and virtualized or physical servers - Document and communicate solution architecture to both technical and non-technical roles - Participate in the preparation of procurement documentation - Contribute to the group's overall strategy, working methods, and further development of our products **Qualifications** This is an opportunity for you who have: - A higher education in IT or other experience that the Police Authority deems equivalent - Experience working as a solution architect - Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English - Swedish citizenship It is advantageous if you also have: - Experience in developing and analyzing requirements within the public sector or other regulated activities (e.g., finance, healthcare, education) - Experience contributing to technical requirements specification or evaluation in procurements according to LOU - Experience designing and implementing solutions on container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift) or in virtualized environments - Experience designing solutions based on standard systems or platforms (COTS/SaaS) - Experience integrating or designing solutions related to learning management systems (LMS) or other educational systems - Experience with the architecture and integration of Optimizely/Episerver - Experience with Elasticsearch - Experience with RPA solutions (e.g., UiPath) and their architectural implementation - Experience applying principles of security architecture, such as identity management, access control, logging, and data protection - Experience establishing or working with CI/CD pipelines for container-based solutions - Experience working in agile environments according to DevOps, Scrum, or SAFe principles **Personal Attributes** You have a strong interest in technology, management, and a safe society.
