About this role
The city of Västerås has removed the personal letter from the application process. We do this to achieve a better and fairer recruitment process. When you submit your application, you will be required to answer a number of questions that will become an important part of our selection work.
Do you want to create the best possible conditions for our students' continued development and learning? We warmly welcome your application!
Your Responsibilities
You will be an important adult for our students, providing support to them both individually and in groups. Together with three colleagues, you will be part of the school's resource team, which works collaboratively to provide support to our students. Your title will be Resource Educator. You will have close cooperation with the school's special educators, other student health staff, and many of our teachers.
Your Qualifications
You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach at the upper secondary level or in the later years of compulsory school. Experience in educational settings is a plus.
You are capable of working independently and can easily adapt if the situation requires it. Your goal is to create a learning and innovative environment, which you achieve through good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You apply your knowledge so that all students learn and develop, valuing diversity in your teaching approach.
