**Description**

We are a newly built school for approximately 480 students, located in the heart of Värnamo.
We strive to promote students' learning and personal development through engaged pedagogy and a safe, supportive climate. Our vision is to create a health-promoting and accessible school for everyone!
We are looking for a dedicated teacher for students in need of special support who, together with teachers, school resources, and the student health team, will drive efforts to strengthen the pedagogical development work for accessibility in teaching, as well as improve teaching quality and increase goal fulfillment at the school. You see opportunities in change, value diversity, and place great importance on working towards the school's mission and goals. This means that together with other educators, you will lead, organize, and structure the work to create a safe learning environment.
**Responsibilities**
The role involves:
- Collaborating with others to provide support and adaptations for students who need it, for all or part of the school day, both in terms of studies and social situations. Support may take place in adapted facilities or in the classroom, with inclusion as the guiding principle!
- Planning, implementing, documenting, following up, and developing the educational activities together with the student health team and the school's work team.
- Conducting teaching with great variation and clear structures that are individualized based on the student's need for special support.
- Providing guidance, developing operations, and working on student health based on our students' needs.
- Collaborating with the school's special education team to drive professional development for the school's resource team.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who holds a teaching certification for grades 4-6. We place great importance on your ability to meet students based on their diverse needs and work with accessible learning environments, as well as being a positive and engaged person. It is essential that you are creative, flexible, clear, and responsive. You have the ability to see opportunities in pedagogical work and possess strong collaboration skills. You are well-acquainted with your teaching responsibilities according to current governing documents and have good knowledge of planning, implementing, documenting, following up, and developing educational activities together with the student health team and the school's work team.
You have the ability to build good relationships with students and colleagues. You view guardians as valuable partners in students' development.
With a relational approach, you meet our students in pedagogical and social challenges. You have high expectations for all students' ability to learn and develop, and trust in everyone's desire to succeed. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
**Conditions**
We are working with ongoing selection and interviews. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
