JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Adapted Primary School is a place where teachers work together with teaching assistants, school management, and student health teams to create the best possible conditions for our students. Adapted Primary School is located at Hjortsbergsskolan, Tullbroskolan, and Skogstorpsskolan.
We are currently seeking a teacher for our Adapted Primary School in Skogstorp, a newly opened unit from the autumn semester. Adapted Primary School serves students with intellectual disabilities. We work to provide our students with an adapted education, meeting their needs and challenges. Our goal is to offer our students a safe school day where they can develop their independence and reach their maximum potential in knowledge development. Here, you need to be inventive, flexible, and open to trying new things to find our students' motivation and joy in schoolwork.
You will be part of a team with teachers and several teaching assistants. Together, you will plan and conduct teaching. The teaching is planned by you as a teacher, but together with the teaching assistants, you will support students' learning. As a teacher with us, you will have a vacation service position.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are currently looking to expand our operations and seek a teacher who wants to work with our subject area class. You may have a background as a preschool teacher, primary school teacher, or leisure-time teacher. To obtain a permanent position in Adapted Primary School, you must have a special education teacher degree specializing in intellectual disabilities. There may also be an opportunity to combine special education teacher studies with work. Experience working in Adapted Primary School is meritorious. In Adapted Primary School, good collaboration skills and a willingness to work in a team are essential.
Experience with autism, clarifying pedagogy, sign language, or sign support is also considered meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
