The High School and Labor Market Administration is responsible for labor market initiatives, financial assistance, the reception of newcomers and quota refugees, as well as upper secondary school, adult education, and summer internships.
Sjödalsgymnasiet is a municipal high school in Huddinge. We are part of Campus Huddinge and offer programs in Sales and Service, Electrical Engineering, and HVAC and Property Management.
About the Position
We are seeking a teacher to instruct students in the Sales and Service program in the courses of Trade and Sustainable Development, Business Development and Leadership, Reception and Conference Services, Purchasing 1, and Business Economics 1. The position is a temporary role at 70% for at least three months.
In addition to teaching, your responsibilities will include mentoring a group of students. For these students, you will also have APL (Workplace-Based Learning) responsibility, which involves visiting the students' internship placements, contacting the supervisors, and, if necessary, securing APL placements.
There are two additional FS (Sales and Service) teachers at the school with whom you will work closely. Teachers and other staff collaborate closely regarding the students and work to find common strategies and create good conditions for the students' learning and development. Mentorship is an important part of the role, and you are expected to act promptly when difficulties arise by contacting guardians and the school's student health team.
About You
We are looking for a qualified and certified teacher, either in economics or as a vocational teacher in sales and service. You are a clear leader who is confident and stable in your professional role. You easily establish good relationships with young people, which we see as essential for successful teaching. You also value creating good relationships with colleagues, guardians, and APL companies. You are structured, solution-focused, and accustomed to using ICT.
