Bergsjö School is looking for a teacher for grades 4-6

We are now seeking an engaged teacher who wants to help shape the school of the future together with us.
About the position
You will teach grades 4-6 and be part of a dedicated team. In grades 4-6, we have 2 classes in each grade, and for the upcoming school year, we are strengthening our staffing by working with 3 qualified teachers per grade. This provides increased opportunities for a flexible co-teaching system, meaning you will closely collaborate with your immediate colleagues to create structure, security, and higher achievement for the students.
For the right person, there is also the opportunity to combine the position with a lead teacher role focused on school development.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is a certified teacher for grades 4-6
- Has a strong interest in teaching development and collaboration
- Wants to work in a systematic and professional learning environment
- Is confident in your teaching role and believes in every student's ability to succeed
- Ideally has experience leading development work (for the lead teacher role)
About Bergsjö School
We are a K-9 school located in the heart of Nordanstig, with approximately 500 students. The Adapted Primary School 1-10 also operates in the same facilities. Here, you will encounter a high level of engagement among the staff and a clear ambition to make a difference – every day.
Nordanstig Municipality consists of several schools with a total of about 900 students, sharing a common upper secondary school in Bergsjö. Together, we work towards higher achievement and a more equitable school system. The Swedish National Agency for Education, SPSM, Mid Sweden University, and RUC-X are some of the partners we collaborate with to achieve this.
We strive for equity and the same conditions among schools, as all students transition to the municipality's upper secondary school. We work for smooth transitions and a reflective environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop and achieve good results.
