We are a school that operates from preschool class to grade 9 and is located in Viksjö in a residential area. The school has approximately 760 students. We work in teams to foster close collaboration regarding our students' development, both socially and academically. Since 2011, we have been utilizing digital tools in various ways; for instance, we have Smartboards installed in classrooms for grades F-3, and students in grades 4-9 have their own laptops.
We aim to leverage our diverse student body, aged six to fifteen, by organizing joint theme days for the entire school where older students work alongside younger children/students. Another aspect of utilizing the collective knowledge and experiences of our entire operation is our shared pedagogical leadership group with representatives from each area of operation, aimed at driving and anchoring school development.

We are a school that operates from preschool class to grade 9 and is situated in a residential area in Viksjö. The school has about 600 students and 90 employees. The school is organized into teams and workgroups to ensure close collaboration regarding our students' development - both academically and socially.
Starting in August, Fjällenskolan aims to improve results in our efforts concerning student attendance, safety, and study environment, as well as the quality of teaching, which includes accessible learning, effective lessons, clear lesson structure, and evaluations as methods of working. We take a holistic perspective where we utilize everyone's competencies and build a school where all feel secure, joyful at work, and optimistic about the future. We want our staff to thrive at the school, harmonizing competence, curiosity, and joy in collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with education and experience working as a textile craft teacher who is interested in seeing others grow and develop and is a good leader in the classroom. If you also have qualifications in other subjects, that would be a plus. You take initiative with the student's best interests in focus and have good collaborative skills. You are flexible and think outside the box to find the best solutions for the student. You enjoy making your own decisions but recognize that collaboration with others is essential for successful outcomes. You focus on student participation and collaborate effortlessly with guardians, colleagues, and remain loyal to decisions made.
