Birkaschool is an educational institution serving children from preschool to primary school, grades F-9. The school's goal is to develop creativity, self-confidence, and a love of learning through Montessori pedagogy.
Our preschool has 110 children across 7 departments. In primary school, we have over 400 students in mixed-age classes: F-1, 2-3, 4-6, and age-specific classes for grades 7-9.

Mixed-age student groups allow older children to serve as role models, guiding and helping younger students.

We are seeking a teacher qualified to teach Swedish and English for grades 7-9. Currently, the position is full-time teaching Swedish in grades 7-9. We are looking for a candidate with strong collaboration skills, flexibility, and a positive approach. It is important that you enjoy challenges and are solution-oriented.
The teaching role includes planning student knowledge development, grading, collaborating with colleagues, parents, and management, as well as other typical teaching responsibilities. This is a permanent, full-time (100%) position.
Candidates with Swedish as a second language in their educational background are particularly encouraged to apply.
