Teacher for Grades 4-6 at Kristinebergskolan

Kristinebergskolan is a preschool to 6th-grade school with approximately 430 students, centrally located in Borås. We have a three-parallel school operation that also includes 4 after-school care departments. We work in teams and strive for close collaboration between grades and departments. Our experienced staff creates a good learning environment with students through a shared approach and common rules. Students have access to a large schoolyard, football fields, and a nearby sports facility that promotes physical activity and creative outdoor experiences. The school's core values of safety, knowledge, and responsibility permeate the entire school day.
Job Responsibilities
You will conduct teaching in subjects based on your qualifications. Your work involves planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction. Mentorship is also part of the role. You'll be part of a team where we learn from each other, plan cross-disciplinary work, and solve challenges together. At Kristinebergskolan, we have high expectations for our students, and all instruction is based on current curriculum documents and current research. Support is available through Student Health Services, IT coordinator, and school management.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a teaching license with broad qualifications to teach grades 4-6. It is advantageous if you are qualified in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, mathematics, English, religious studies, history, geography, and social studies.
To succeed in the teaching role, we seek someone with strong leadership skills who creates safety and order in the classroom. You are flexible and skilled at creating and maintaining good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians.
