Skärlagskolan is located in central Trosa, close to forests and beautiful nature. We are a primary school for grades F-6 with after-school care, serving approximately 420 students. The municipality's adapted primary school is part of the school's operations.
We have a newly built school with creative facilities. Skärlagskolan is characterized by a high level of staff engagement, and we have a significant proportion of certified teachers.
The school has a student health team that includes special educators, a school nurse, a counselor, a school psychologist, and school management. We also have after-school staff assigned to classes, special educators, Swedish as a second language teachers, and study guides, all aimed at meeting the needs of our students.

In your role with us, you will support students' development and learning both in school and during after-school care. An important task is to create inspiring and challenging learning environments for students during their time in after-school care. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the content and efforts to promote each child's development and learning. Your responsibilities include building good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
We place great importance on your ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the school. Educators work closely together throughout the students' entire school day with us. It is essential that you contribute your experience, knowledge, and creative abilities in various ways for the development of both students and the organization.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You have:
- A university degree in Education for after-school care or as a leisure-time pedagogical educator.
- Documented experience working as a leisure-time educator/teacher for after-school care.
- Educational awareness and knowledge to interpret and concretize the goals of the curriculum.
We want you to utilize your experiences and competencies to contribute to an exciting and stimulating educational environment where the student is the focus. We expect a professional attitude towards students and parents in various forums.
You have a positive mindset and a solution-oriented approach, always with the best interests of the student in focus.
To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You should be self-assured, stable, and possess good self-awareness. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization. You have a good understanding of how children absorb knowledge and the various conditions for learning. You are proactive and able to initiate activities within the organization.
