Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen in Stockholm serves students with severe language impairments from grade 2 to grade 10. Our teaching focuses on language and communication. The goal is for students to have the conditions to meet knowledge requirements, be active participants in various social contexts, and develop as individuals. We offer accommodations for students who cannot commute to school daily.
Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen is a state special school for students with severe language impairments. Here, you will work in a unique educational environment where teaching and extracurricular activities are tailored to each student's needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen is growing, and we are now looking for a teacher for the after-school program.
Do you want to work at a school where the after-school program has its own facilities and where the student's communication is at the center? Are you passionate about creating security, structure, and meaningful activities for students with severe language impairments? We are now seeking an engaged teacher for the after-school program at one of our facilities!
As a teacher for the after-school program, you will:
• Lead the assistants working in the after-school program.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the educational activities in the after-school program based on the Curriculum for special schools, preschool class, and after-school programs.
• Create meaningful activities that stimulate students' social, creative, and physical development.
• Collaborate with class teachers and other colleagues to create a holistic approach to students' learning and safety during the school day.
• Actively contribute to the school's shared values work.
• Lead the daily operations of the after-school program and be a central part of the school's overall environment.
Teaching in a practical aesthetic subject may be relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
• Are a licensed teacher for after-school programs or a leisure-time pedagogue.
• Have at least a couple of years of professional experience as a teacher for after-school programs/leisure-time pedagogue.
• Are well-versed in the governing documents of the after-school program.
It is an advantage if you:
• Have a license in a practical aesthetic subject.
• Have experience working with students with severe language impairments.
• Have expertise in neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
• Are familiar with TAKK (sign language for communication).
OTHER
A six-month probationary period applies.
A criminal record check must be presented prior to employment.
