Welcome to us Beckombergaskolan is a well-regarded F-6 school located in a scenic area on the outskirts of Bromma. The school has approximately 500 students and around 70 staff members. At the school, there is ongoing development work focused on language and knowledge-enhancing methods. Beckombergaskolan is a well-organized school with good routines and working methods. Your role As a teacher in the after-school program, you will be responsible for ensuring that the teaching is designed in accordance with the Education Act, curriculum, and local governing documents. You will be part of a work team and collaborate throughout the day with other professionals in the school to create the best conditions for students' learning and development. In the after-school program, you and your colleagues will offer students a meaningful leisure time by basing activities on the students' needs, interests, and experiences, while also continuously challenging them and inspiring new discoveries. In your teaching, you will work to promote students' imagination, empathy, and ability to learn together with others through play, movement, and creative expression, as well as exploratory and practical methods. Together with your colleagues, you will strive for a trusting, open, and respectful collaboration with families to provide a holistic perspective on the student's learning and development. Your qualifications and experience You who are applying: - Are a certified teacher in the after-school program - Have experience in conducting teaching that allows students to develop ideas, solve problems, and translate those ideas into action - Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms You are confident, stable, have good self-awareness, and adapt your approach depending on the situation. You appreciate working towards goals and focus on continuous improvement of the operations and your own professional practice. You have strong collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and guardians. You have a good ability to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are structured, planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. The position is a temporary contract for the 2025-2026 school year, with placement in the preschool class.
