The school area includes administrative support and a student health team consisting of a special educator, special teacher, school nurse, and counselor. Our staff collaborates closely and flexibly around the students, and the workplace is characterized by an inclusive approach. All of your teaching colleagues are qualified and have extensive experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a teacher for grades 4-6 at Marbäck School to collaborate in a co-teaching model. As a teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction together with a colleague and work team, adapting to the individual needs of students. Your work will include thorough documentation of students' knowledge development and active values-based work in collaboration with the entire school staff. Based on applicable governing documents and using formative assessment as a method, you will work to ensure that all students develop to their fullest potential. Participation in one of the school's working groups may also be included in the position. A student health team with a special educator, special teacher, counselor, and school nurse is available for support.
QUALIFICATIONS

Broad subject qualifications are advantageous, particularly in the subjects of science and/or music. Previous experience working in primary education is also considered a merit. We prefer that you have good knowledge of and experience with digital tools. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
As a teacher in the Gällstad school area, you need to be independent and responsible. You have an inclusive approach and can contribute to a strong sense of community, both among student groups and collegially. You maintain a clear focus on quality in your work, are solution-oriented, and positive. You have the ability to capture students' interest, thereby creating challenging and stimulating instruction.
Since you will be part of a smaller faculty, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented within the organization. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate with your colleagues and see the benefits of interdisciplinary and age-diverse cooperation. In your interactions with students, you are calm, secure, and patient. We expect you to have a low-arousal approach when engaging with young people, to be a clear leader and role model, and to have a good ability to build relationships with children and youth. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
