**Description:**
Skäggeberg School, located centrally in Sunne, is close to the library, several green areas, and outdoor spaces.
The school has approximately 320 students from preschool to grade 6, along with an associated after-school program, and it also includes an adapted primary school.
The schools in Sunne Municipality organize education based on the belief that children and students can and want to learn and develop, with an awareness that development requires long-term commitment, perseverance, and a holistic perspective. Through clear pedagogical relational leadership, we aim to create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment filled with variety and challenges. We develop our teaching based on language and knowledge-promoting methods and differentiated instruction. We believe it is important to participate in team meetings for collective discussions, learning, development, and collaboration across grade boundaries. You will belong to the Sundsvik school area, which includes Skäggeberg School, Svensby School, and Gräsmark School. The school's student health team consists of counselors, school nurses, special educators, special teachers, as well as the principal and vice principal.
**Responsibilities:**
Your responsibilities will include leading and taking responsibility for the pedagogical work based on the curriculum's mission. You will be part of a team and responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work. Mentorship may be included in the position, where you are expected to conduct meetings and development conversations with guardians. Here, you will find colleagues in a strong community who all take personal responsibility and participate in supervision and targeted training.
Development work and systematic quality work are also part of your role, as well as collaborating with external organizations and authorities such as social services, child and adolescent psychiatry, and habilitation.
**Qualifications:**
We are looking for a teacher with valid qualifications to teach mathematics, Swedish, and English in grades 4-6 of primary school. You have a holistic perspective, interest, and commitment to the overall development of the student, are flexible, and have the ability to adapt, as well as the capacity to teach at different levels using various methods. We seek someone who is calm and stable, possesses great patience, and can adapt to the student's circumstances and needs.
**Conditions:**
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and hiring may occur before the application deadline. A probationary period may be applied. Start date is at the beginning of the term on January 7, 2026.
