The Role
- Your primary mission is to be responsible for and drive the development of teaching in mathematics, technology, and natural science subjects at the intermediate level. Heby Municipality is a member of NTA (Nature and Technology for All), which means teaching is based on our annual theme box cycle.
- You will daily use several digital systems and tools, such as Meitner, DF Respons, Skolon, and M365/Teams. Our students have one-to-one iPads, and we use Smartboards in the classrooms.
- Mentorship, pedagogical lunch, and playground supervision are included in the position. Other responsibility assignments will also be included.
Who We Are
At Harbo School F-6, we currently have about 110 students. We are a well-established staff group that supports each other. Everyone helps out here. Many new things are happening in the coming year. By the 26/27 academic year, we will move into our renovated and expanded school and organize teaching in B-form.
Are You the One?
We want:
- A licensed teacher (grades 1-6/4-6) with qualifications to teach primarily mathematics, technology, and natural science subjects.
- Good computer skills and comfort navigating systems and tools.
- Ability to adapt work to current conditions and value good relationships, a structured learning environment, and taking initiative.
- A secure person with tools to handle the complex daily life in the school world.
It is advantageous if you have training in and have taught using NTA boxes. Previous experience with Magma and certification/interest in teaching music and/or physical education is valuable to us.
The position is full-time, starting January 8 or by agreement - no later than January 26. A probationary employment may be applied.
