About this role

– A job with room for movement and joy Do you want to contribute to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential in their knowledge development and find joy in movement? Would you like to work at schools close to a football field, ice hockey rink, ski trails, and a dedicated sports hall? Do you place great importance on creating a safe learning environment for students? If so, apply for the position of teacher in Aspås and Rödön, two truly wonderful schools in Krokom Municipality! Welcome to us! We are looking for a classroom teacher for grades 1-6 with a focus on qualifications in core subjects such as Swedish, Mathematics, and English, as well as Physical Education and Health. A portion of the position may involve teaching in after-school care, and another part may involve teaching Home and Consumer Studies, if you are qualified in that area. The position currently encompasses 40-90% and may involve work at two F-6 schools, Aspås and Rödön. Both schools are located close to nature with a rich outdoor environment. We place great emphasis on safety and well-being, where values-based work is highly prioritized. The Children and Education Administration has approximately 800 employees. The administration's activities span the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, nutrition and cleaning services, mother tongue education, and library services. A day as a teacher in Aspås and Rödön's school and after-school care The position is part of a work team for F-6, where after-school care and school collaborate and share a common responsibility for the students and their learning throughout the day. The main task of the position is teaching in the school, but it may also involve work in after-school care. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching, both in school and in the after-school setting. Teaching and stimulating students based on municipal and national goals is the primary responsibility of the role. Inspiring, motivating, and sparking curiosity in students to seek the knowledge they need is another important aspect of the job, as is supporting students in their personal development. Other important tasks in the teaching profession include identifying developmental needs and driving the development of the activities towards established goals, as well as contributing to the school's development. There are great opportunities for you to use your knowledge and experience to further develop the work methods of the organization together with your colleagues. Your qualifications You have a teaching degree and certification with qualifications in Swedish, English, Mathematics, and Physical Education and Health for grades 1-6. If you also have qualifications to teach in after-school care and/or in Home and Consumer Studies, that is an advantage. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work. You embody the school's values. Experience in teaching students with special educational needs (NPF) is advantageous. To thrive in this role, you see work teams as a resource, and it is natural for you to positively contribute to solving common tasks. We place great importance on your interest in participating in development work and your ability to collaborate. We want you to be open to new ideas and thoughts on enabling teaching in various ways. It is important that you enjoy challenges and have the courage to explore new paths. The work may involve teaching at two schools, so a driver's license and access to a car are necessary. Additional information The position is currently temporary until the end of the spring term but may transition into a permanent position next school year. The position is 40-90% with a start date to be agreed upon. The extent of the position is open for discussion and depends on the service basis and your qualifications and certifications. Krokom Municipality offers a benefits portal and wellness grants or wellness time. The application deadline is December 19, 2025. We have a rolling recruitment process, so do not wait to submit your application. Selection and interviews will take place up until week 51, and the position may be filled before the application period ends. In preparation for the recruitment process, we have decided on recruitment channels and marketing. Therefore, we kindly ask not to be contacted by sales representatives.
