About the Position Together with teachers in the work team and PE teachers, you will plan instruction. You will be responsible for planning and conducting physical education lessons. You will be part of work team 4, led by a development leader. Each week, you will meet for planning and pedagogical time together with all teachers at the school. Together with your colleagues, you will systematically document, analyze, evaluate, and follow up on student learning in the subjects you teach. As a PE teacher with us, you will be active and relationship-focused in contact with both students and guardians. You will help create a good learning environment, use general adaptations as much as possible, and drive school development in collaboration with other teachers, developing areas prioritized by the school. Example Duties: • Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction in subjects you are qualified to teach • Co-plan and evaluate with subject colleagues • Support students in their social development • Actively work to create a safe environment for our students • Know and follow applicable laws, policies, and procedures of the organization • Work and document in existing operational systems About the Workplace Norrbyskolan is a preschool to 6th-grade school operated as an intrapreneur, which means greater freedom and responsibility regarding economics, budget, and personnel matters. The school is beautifully located near Venaskogen in the northern part of central Örebro. We have approximately 670 students distributed across four preschool classes, twelve classes in grades 1-3, and eleven classes in grades 4-6. Our staff is divided into work teams by grade level, with about 10 employees in each team. Qualifications As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, listen and communicate, and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. You should have knowledge of child development and learning, and the ability to adapt instruction based on group and individual student needs and prerequisites. You will have a good relational leadership approach in your teaching and can work with students' different learning conditions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Teaching license with qualification to teach Physical Education for preschool to 6th grade, or qualifying exam that entitles you to a license Meritorious: • Work experience from teaching in current grade levels Scope and Commencement Employment Type: Permanent position Employment Degree: 100% Commencement: December 1, 2025, or by agreement Number of Positions: 1 Additional Information Teaching license with specified qualification must be attached to the application, or qualifying degree certificate that entitles you to a license.
