Responsibilities
Hvitfeldtska Gymnasiet is currently seeking a substitute teacher for the spring term of 2026, to teach Business and Sales and Customer Service, with placement in the Sales and Service Program. The role also includes being engaged in the work with Young Entrepreneurship within the program.
You will support, motivate, and stimulate students to achieve their learning goals based on their individual circumstances. You will work collaboratively with teaching colleagues and other staff to ensure a positive learning and working environment for our students and staff. You will actively participate in the school's development work.
Qualifications
You hold a vocational teaching degree and are qualified to teach courses in Business and Sales and Customer Service. You have good professional competence and current industry experience in the field. Experience working with Young Entrepreneurship is an advantage. You have experience working interdisciplinary in teams and creating good learning opportunities for each student. You are a clear pedagogical leader in the classroom and easily establish good relationships with students. You adopt a formative approach in your teaching and provide each student with the best conditions to reach their goals. In your role as a mentor, you support students by understanding their needs, monitoring their studies, and being involved in the goal of achieving a high school diploma. As a vocational teacher, you also have contacts within and follow developments in the relevant industry. You conduct visits and assess students who are on work placements (APL).
You have a genuine interest in young people and the diverse needs of individuals. You collaborate with other teachers and student health staff to contribute to students feeling safe and comfortable at school. You possess good teamwork skills, are flexible, clear, and have a desire to develop new working methods. You have a good understanding of and experience working with students who require additional adjustments. You are accustomed to using computers as educational tools and administrative support and are comfortable with various digital aids in teaching.
