Aggerud School is part of the school administration and is located in the southern part of Karlskoga. We currently have 400 students at the school. We work collaboratively to develop teaching in our classrooms. Our goal is for teachers to become experts in their own teaching. JOB DESCRIPTION
You will teach textile crafts in grades 3-6.
Your responsibilities include:
• planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching in the subjects you are responsible for
• analyzing teaching and results
• providing mentorship/performing class teacher duties
• communicating with parents
• contributing to school development
• collaborating with the student health team, school management, and external parties
• participating in school-wide values work
• working in teams
• working and documenting in the operational systems available.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach textile crafts for grades 3-6.
You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning as well as the structure of your teaching in an effective way that leads to desired results.
To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to possess good IT skills and easily adapt to digital systems. Furthermore, you are proficient in the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document in writing what the operations require.
Experience working as a teacher after graduation, language development methods, or Swedish as a second language is an advantage.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
