Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports-focused elementary school. In your role as a teacher, you will work towards our core values of Knowledge, Safety, Sports & Health, and our "Good Teaching" concept. You believe that sports and movement promote knowledge acquisition and work with this as a natural part of the school day. About Prolympia Jönköping Prolympia Jönköping is located in Rosenlund, just a few minutes' walk from Husqvarna Garden, Lake Vättern beach, Rosenlund Swimming Pool, Racket Center, and the football fields at Rosenlunds IP. Communication is good, and it is easy to access for both students and adults. Prolympia Jönköping is an independent school with grades 2-9. The school is divided into two sections, 2-6 and 7-9. We have a total of approximately 500 students. In grades 2-6, we have two parallel classes per grade, and in grades 7-9, we have three to four parallel classes per grade. Prolympia is characterized by both students and staff enjoying sports and seeing it as a natural part of the school day. You will be part of a team where you have the opportunity to exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas that can improve your teaching and contribute to school development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a clear leadership style in the classroom and who is a role model in contact with the school's students, colleagues, school management, and guardians. You are a clear leader in the classroom and have the ability to create a classroom characterized by safety, warmth, and good teaching. You plan, conduct, and follow up on your teaching, map students' knowledge levels, and document their development. You actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge and have the ability to adapt instruction to promote learning and good learning outcomes. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and contribute to a pleasant work environment. You have good IT skills and good communication abilities. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you share our values and interest in sports and health.
