Nordanstig Municipality consists of several school locations with approximately 900 students, sharing a common secondary school in Bergsjö.
Bergsjö School is a K-9 school with around 500 students. Adapted Comprehensive School (Grades 1-10) also operates in the same facilities.
Together, we work towards higher goal achievement and a more equitable school. The Swedish National Agency for Education, Umeå University, SPSM, Mid Sweden University, and RUC-X are some of the partners we collaborate with to achieve this.

About the Position
We are looking for a licensed teacher in technology who wants to work with our students in grades 7-9. The position can be combined with other subjects, and there is also an opportunity to combine the role with a lead teacher assignment at the school.
If you choose to join us, you will be part of a teaching team with several teachers instructing the same classes. You will also be part of a subject team where you plan together and exchange ideas and thoughts.
Daily work encompasses all tasks included in a teacher's assignment. Individually and together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, evaluate, and ensure high-quality instruction that creates context and challenges students at the right level. You will contribute to collaborative learning together with the school's staff.

As a person, you have strong leadership skills, understand that people have different capacities for acquiring knowledge, and can adapt your teaching accordingly. You involve students in planning and can make learning processes visible and further develop them. You systematically reflect on your work, both individually and with colleagues, and are committed to creating a safe learning environment with study peace, trust, and respect.
