The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments and is responsible for preschool, primary school, secondary school, adapted primary and secondary education, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes lifelong learning for all children and students, working towards the goal of "high academic results in a school where everyone can and wants to be". We place great emphasis on working closely with our operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on our management chain.
Vifolkaskolan 7-9 is located in Mantorp, a stone's throw from public transit, and has around 330 students distributed across 12 classes and a specialized teaching group. The staff includes both experienced teachers who have been with us for many years and teachers at the beginning of their careers. The school also comprises competent staff such as teaching assistants, caretakers, library personnel, and career counselors. We also have a student health team consisting of school nurses, counselors, school psychologists, speech therapists, special education teachers, career counselors, and special education specialists. Here, teaching and relationships between staff and students are our focus. We have a well-functioning organization and clear, effective routines for our student health work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At Vifolkaskolan, we work as subject teachers, and a significant part of the work occurs in subject teams, including this position.
You will work based on the organization's goals and mission by promoting learning where individuals are stimulated to acquire and develop knowledge and values. In your work, you will collaborate with families to promote students' comprehensive personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens.
Based on established goals, you will work to ensure students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially, and actively influence and motivate students to reach their objectives. You will create teaching that, through the teacher's interpretation and understanding, meets the requirements of school law, curriculum, course plans, and subject plans.
You should be subject-knowledgeable, guide students, plan and lead instruction, assess and grade knowledge development. You will actively participate in school development and help improve the organization. As a subject teacher for grades 7-9, you will work within the primary school sector and be managed by the school's principal. The position includes mentorship responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with a teaching certification and subject teacher examination for grades 7-9. Proficiency in Swedish and English is required.
