Innovitaskolan consists of 26 preschools and primary schools created for future needs. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with competencies and the right conditions in a changing world. What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking someone with an appropriate teaching qualification and experience and competence to teach Swedish and English for students in grades 6-9. You are expected to inspire learning and work in a team with other educators.
We Offer:
A permanent position at 80-100% with affiliation and mentorship in the grade 7-9 team. Several licensed teachers are part of the Swedish and English subject group, which provides opportunities for collegial exchange and joint planning.
About the Organization:
Innovitaskolan Visby is an independent school for students in grades F-9. The school started in 2002 under the name Atheneskolan and is an established operation with high satisfaction among students, parents, and staff. We have preschool and school with a total of 530 children and students. Creativity, curiosity, and high ambition characterize our operation and are part of students' good knowledge development and well-being.
The school has two parallel classes from preschool to year 9. Mentor teams, subject groups, and work teams are the core of the operation, and we actively work to create equivalent and good conditions for student learning. An operation for every future. In language instruction, we work in subject groups with 3 educators in two classes. This means that parallel classes have instruction in the subject simultaneously, and three educators have joint responsibility for teaching with a high degree of differentiation. The structure enables division into smaller learning groups focusing on, for example, repetition or in-depth study.
The school has a conscious approach to the dual assignments of knowledge and values. Above all, there is a wonderful drive and desire to help students reach their optimal level.
