About this role
Are you curious about a workplace where play, learning, and relationships go hand in hand? Welcome to Nygårdsskolan – a place where creativity and engagement can flourish together!
**Your Responsibilities**
As a teacher, your starting point is to work with planning, teaching, evaluation, and values-based work according to the curriculum. This work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
As a teacher, you view the entire school day of the student as important, and therefore collaborate with both guardians and colleagues regarding the student. As part of this collaboration, the school and after-school care work together to achieve higher goal fulfillment and create the best conditions for each student. You will focus on the student group you encounter and are expected to create varied and challenging lessons. Using digital tools is a natural part of your teaching.
You promote collegial learning through discussion and reflection during both planned and spontaneous occasions. To benefit student learning, as well as your own and the development of the organization, you take advantage of the experiences and knowledge of various professionals.
Teaching is divided among three teachers in two classes, which means you will sometimes teach alongside a colleague. In your role as a teacher, you will be part of a grade-level working team.
**Your Workplace**

The school has newly renovated, fresh facilities and is located in the Skäggetorp district. The school has a pleasant playground of about 14,000 square meters. New play equipment is available to promote play, creativity, movement, and social interaction.

We have a staffed school library with a well-developed book collection, a well-functioning student health team, a popular after-school program, and developed environmental work at the school. At Nygårdsskolan, cooperative learning is used in teaching 1-2 days a week, which benefits student development.
Nygårdsskolan is characterized by a high level of engagement and flexibility. Our idea regarding quality forms the foundation for the teacher's teaching potential; we are keen to provide our employees with the right conditions for the task. Furthermore, we place great qualitative importance on the collaboration between teachers, students, and guardians functioning well. We believe that high quality is achieved through active values-based work and that the school's employees, regardless of their tasks, are involved in initiating both influence and analysis of the organization.
