JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Pär Lagerkvistsskolan started operations in August 2017. The school consists of approximately 1,000 children and students distributed across three units: preschool with around 200 children, grades F-6 with nearly 300 students, and grades 7-9 with approximately 400 students.
The school's goal is to offer a learning environment that:
• Provides sustainable education for our children and students
• Offers safety and continuity
• Conducts pedagogy in flexible, efficient, and beautiful facilities
The school works long-term to organize strong, independent work teams around a group of students. Teachers have most or all of their teaching in the same work team. Currently, the 7-9 section is organized into three work teams with five parallel classes in each grade level. At the school, we work together, and no one should feel alone. We support each other in challenging times and celebrate together in success.
Your job responsibilities consist of typical subject teacher tasks in Spanish for grades 6-9. You will belong to one of our three work teams at Pär Lagerkvist, where you will also have your primary teaching and participate in conferences and meetings related to the team. As a subject teacher, you will also belong to a subject team with subject conferences and associated collaborations.
The employment is 50% part-time, and depending on additional subjects in your degree, the position may be expanded for the 26/27 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a qualified teacher with certification to teach Spanish for grades 6-9.
You also have a conscious approach to your role as a teacher and are a clear leader who works systematically based on current governing documents and a professional approach. You have the ability to create a good work climate with commitment, curiosity, and security in the group, and you see and meet students' different needs based on their individual conditions. You stimulate all students to develop, document their results, and inform students and guardians effectively about learning progress. You also have a positive attitude, a flexible working method, good collaboration skills, and contribute to the development of the organization.
