Landvetterskolan is located in central Landvetter and is a 4-9 school with approximately 700 students. The school has good bus connections to Borås and Gothenburg, and you can easily take the Red Express without changing buses. Here you will meet engaged students and staff with high job satisfaction.
For 4.5 years, Landvetterskolan has been participating in an evidence-based, school-wide model called PALS, aimed at systematizing health-promoting and preventive work. The PALS work involves long-term systematic quality work with school culture, providing staff with tools to manage and prevent behavioral issues and better support students in achieving good school performance and improved results. Our school's guiding principles are Care, Responsibility, and Respect, developed through the PALS work.
Your Assignment
We are seeking someone who wants to make a difference for our students and, together with colleagues, strives to contribute to students' development and learning.
We are looking for a licensed social science teacher. In this role, you will collaborate with other educators and work in teams. In addition to being a subject teacher, you will also be a mentor for a class.
Requirements for the Position
- Teaching certification for grades 7-9 in Social Sciences
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Experience and knowledge in neurodevelopmental disorders
- Clear leadership abilities
- Good collaboration skills
To obtain employment, a police record extract must be presented.
