What do we offer?
You now have the opportunity to become our teacher at the middle school level, teaching social studies for grades 7-9.
You will work closely with colleagues in your team, as well as collaborate with colleagues across the entire principal area. Together, we focus on developing teaching methods to enhance student achievement. Based on our key areas of focus, we work collectively on leadership and motivation, individualized adjustments, and special support.
Your responsibilities will include planning, evaluation, and documentation, as well as other tasks associated with the teaching profession.
Who are you?
We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach social studies, religion, history, and geography for students in grades 7-9. Interest or experience in enhancing student participation, language skills, and a conducive learning environment in the classroom is desirable.
As a person, we hope you are committed to guiding students towards positive outcomes and helping them practice and develop their abilities. We value clarity and structure in your pedagogical work with students. You contribute to a positive collaborative climate in the workplace and excel at building good relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and actively participate in pedagogical development work and collaborative learning processes, creating conditions for each student's learning and development.
We expect you to have strong IT skills and be able to use digital tools with students.

About Us
The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations, as well as to promote coordination between school and working life.
The position is based at Tyringe School, focusing on grades 7-9. This offers excellent opportunities for collaboration and development in exciting assignments. During the school year, we will focus on three key areas: student participation, students' language skills, and safety and a conducive learning environment.
Tyringe School is located in a fantastic central area of Tyringe, close to nature, which is a significant asset for students' development and learning. Nearby the school area are Tyrehallen, Tyrshage, and Tyrs Hov, a sports facility with a gymnasium, swimming pool, ice rink, and bowling alley all under one roof. The school is conveniently located near train and bus stations. The principal area is a 7-9 school with approximately 210 students. Tyringe School also has an F-6 program that operates under a separate principal area. Within the catchment area, there are also two smaller F-6 schools, Finja and Röke, as well as an F-3 program in Västra Torup. Collaboration between the principal areas is crucial for students' success.
