The Education Administration is responsible for, among other things, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, and adapted secondary school. The responsibility also includes student health, mother tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. We work to create an inspiring learning environment for approximately 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision of building knowledge and creating dreams.
The principal area of Urban East consists of Pilevall School (F-9), the Mother Tongue Unit, School Introduction, and two preschools. The area is led by a principal together with four assistant principals and an administrative manager from a 1-16 year perspective. The principal area of Urban East is characterized by cultural diversity, which is a strength.
Pilevall School is a F-9 school with a football profile at the secondary level. Students from both Trelleborg and neighboring municipalities attend our football program. Our goal is to create a good operation with a high level of knowledge and great social competence, providing our youth with the best conditions for succeeding in life, together with students and guardians.

**Job Responsibilities**
We are looking for a craft teacher who, together with a colleague, will be responsible for teaching crafts to students in grades 3-9.
Your main responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating a varied and engaging craft education based on the students' different conditions and knowledge levels. In the craft room, you are a confident leader who has high expectations of the students while also giving them the responsibility to work both individually and in groups. You are responsible for maintaining a high safety standard and can instruct students in the safe handling of machines and tools.
Your teaching is characterized by a language and knowledge-developing approach that emphasizes student participation, clear learning objectives that are evaluated and followed up. Your lessons have a clear progression, and the lesson content is explained and contextualized for the students.
At Pilevall School, you will be part of a team with other practical and aesthetic teachers.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone with a teaching certification with qualifications to teach the subject of crafts (either textile crafts, wood and metal crafts, or both). You have a good understanding of the governing documents for primary school and strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have previous experience teaching across the entire age range, grades 3-9.
You are a confident and stable person with good self-awareness who collaborates well with others in a responsive and flexible manner. The work is structured and carried out with good planning, clear organization, and effective follow-up. Communication is clear and ensures that the message is conveyed and that expectations are clear for all involved. Differences are valued, and there is an understanding of how background, culture, and group affiliation affect both the individual and others. This insight is taken into account in decision-making and the choice of actions.
Last but not least, you are development-oriented, which is evident in your continuous desire to do "a little more" to create a good operation.
