Teacher in Science and Technology - Grades 4-6 - Temporary Position
Internationella Engelska Skolan Eskilstuna is currently seeking a certified teacher in Science and Technology for grades 4-6. This position is a temporary role for the spring term, starting in January 2026.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive, engaged, and a collaborative team player who enjoys going the extra mile for students and colleagues. In addition to delivering meaningful lessons, all staff are expected to be well-organized, take pride in their mentorship and other school responsibilities, and serve as role models for our students.
We require that applicants have a teaching certification with the qualification to teach mathematics.
Responsibilities:
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment for effective teaching and learning
• Uphold the school's positive ethos and values, both inside and outside the classroom
• Communicate with guardians regarding students' development, progress, and achievements
• Maintain good order and discipline among students, in accordance with the school's rules
• Mentorship for students is included in this position.
Qualifications
You hold a teaching degree and a Swedish teaching certification. We seek someone who is passionate about preparing students in the best possible way for the future. You are clear in your leadership and dedicated to creating instruction that is tailored to each student's circumstances and needs. You combine strong subject knowledge with the ability to build good relationships and can work together with families to promote the student's overall development. Through varied teaching methods, you create engagement in learning. You have the ability to clearly communicate goals and expectations and provide feedback that advances learning.
