JOB DESCRIPTION Music Production Teacher Sought for Furuboda Folk High School Job Responsibilities: Distance Music Production Course Teacher at Furuboda Folk High School in Yngsjö. Music Production is a course at Furuboda Folk High School where participants primarily study online via a web-based platform to gain foundational and advanced knowledge in music production. The course is aimed at individuals who write their own songs, want to create or improve their own productions, or wish to further their education in the field, either as a hobby or professionally. As a course instructor, you will teach and provide participants with sound technology knowledge while developing and inspiring their artistic abilities. Participants should gain an understanding and insight into various aspects of music production and develop the ability to take a work from the initial idea stage to a finished production with excellent sound quality. You are committed, accustomed to taking initiative, and experienced in planning and implementing your teaching. With your education and experience as a music teacher and/or sound technology background, you can help offer participants the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development. You approach each participant based on their individual conditions and have a good understanding of people's different learning capabilities. Employment Scope: Parental Leave Replacement, 30% during Spring Semester 2026. Vacation service. Please state salary expectations in your application. Location: Yngsjö QUALIFICATIONS Music teacher or education in sound technology with a pedagogical background. You will contribute to offering participants the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development. Knowledge of computer programs such as Logic, Pro Tools, and/or Ableton, and proficiency in digital tools for music production, mixing techniques, recording techniques, as well as teaching sound theory, acoustics, and songwriting/arrangement.
