Responsibilities As a teacher of Somali as a mother tongue, you will play a crucial role in supporting and strengthening students' language development and cultural identity. Your duties will include: - Planning and conducting Somali language instruction, tailored to the diverse needs and circumstances of the students. - Creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where every student feels seen and heard. - Developing and implementing educational activities that promote linguistic and cultural understanding. - Assessing and monitoring students' progress, as well as providing constructive feedback to support their learning. - Working closely with colleagues and guardians to create a holistic view of the student's development. - Contributing to the school's development and actively participating in various school projects and activities. Qualifications We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualification to teach Somali. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are stable and confident in your role, capable of making difficult decisions and handling pressured situations. You need to be adaptable to changes in your professional role and adjust your working methods according to the situation. You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, students, and other stakeholders you encounter in the organization, and you have the ability to meet everyone with interest and respect.
