The award-winning Language Center Mölndal offers you the opportunity to actively work towards achieving a common approach, where all staff in preschools and schools take responsibility for newly arrived students. The Language Center works to provide all preschool children, primary and secondary school students in Mölndal City the opportunity to develop their multilingual competence.
The unit is responsible for modern languages at four primary schools, study guidance, and mother tongue instruction in primary and secondary schools, leads the development of Swedish as a second language, the introduction of newly arrived students, support for the various school forms in their work with multilingual students, and leads the work on developing multilingualism in preschools within the school administration.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a teacher of modern languages in Mölndal City, you have the opportunity to teach in primary schools. You are employed at Language Center Mölndal and are part of a team working with modern languages across several schools.
You will teach Spanish in grade 6. Mentorship is not included in the position. You will collaborate with operational developers, other language teachers, and be part of the faculty with teachers in mother tongue and modern languages.
As a mother tongue teacher in Mölndal City, you will provide mother tongue instruction at the primary and/or secondary level. You will also provide study guidance at several of Mölndal City's schools. The role also includes conducting assessments of newly arrived students' knowledge and providing support for preschool children during their transition.
All mother tongue teachers are part of a development group and learning groups to ensure quality and development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed teacher in Spanish
- Has very good knowledge of current governing documents, such as the curriculum and syllabus for mother tongue/modern languages or another relevant academic degree for the position
- Has experience teaching mother tongue/modern languages
- Has good digital competence
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish and the relevant language, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
Great importance is placed on personal suitability, and a driver's license is a plus. Experience teaching in Swedish primary schools is also an advantage.
