About the Position
In this role, you will teach mathematics for grades 7-9 and serve as a mentor. As a teacher, you will contribute to the development of the school’s educational work through planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in collaboration with colleagues. Your responsibility is to motivate students to achieve good results through clear goals and tailored methodologies. As a mentor, in collaboration with a colleague, you will support students in their studies and social development, monitor their attendance, and maintain regular communication with guardians, including termly development conversations.

About the Workplace
Lillåns School is located in the residential area of Lillån in the northern part of Örebro. The school has approximately 570 students in the upper grades and about 65 staff members. It is a school with good academic results where both students and staff thrive. We work to contribute to the learning and development of both students and educators in the best possible way. Our guiding principles are Learning - Knowledge - Safety.
Lillåns School F-9 has been renovated in recent years and is adapted for modern educational activities.
The school is part of an intrapreneurship together with Lillåns Southern School F-6, which means that the school has greater financial flexibility.

Qualifications
As a teacher with us, it is important that you are a calm and stable person who contributes to a safe school environment. You work well with others, demonstrating a responsive approach and effective listening and communication skills. Furthermore, you have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and circumstances. You communicate clearly, ensuring that your messages are understood, and take responsibility for your tasks while driving your processes forward. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances and can quickly shift your perspective and approach. Additionally, you are proficient in the Swedish language, enabling you to communicate with students and other staff, as well as document what the role requires in writing.

Requirements:
• Teaching certification with authorization to teach mathematics for grades 7-9, or an equivalent degree that qualifies for teaching certification
Meritorious:
• Teaching certification with authorization to teach additional subjects for grades 7-9

A teaching certification with the specified authorization must be attached to the application, or alternatively, a degree that qualifies for certification.
