Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola in Jakobsberg offers both vocational and university preparatory education. The school has approximately 300 students and 30 staff members.
We are looking for
We are seeking a teacher in mathematics and natural science. You have experience or an interest in teaching both basic and upper secondary courses, and you enjoy creating structure and clarity for students in their knowledge development.
Your assignment
The role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in the courses included in the assignment. You will work based on current governing documents and adapt the teaching to meet the students' needs. Mentorship is not included in this position.
You will primarily teach in our vocational program where students undertake five weeks of workplace-based learning (APL) each academic year. During this period, the schedule becomes more flexible, providing you with good opportunities to dedicate time to development, planning, and follow-up of the teaching.

1 course in Natural Science 1a1 (50 credits) in the Health and Care Program
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to teaching and student development. You have the ability to build good relationships, are responsive to students' needs, and want to contribute to their learning and future studies and careers. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, are open to developing your teaching, and actively participate in collegial learning. A teaching license with qualifications in mathematics, preferably also in natural science, is an advantage.
