JOB DESCRIPTION
Eriksdalskolan is a K-9 school seeking a mathematics teacher. As a teacher at Eriksdalskolan, you play a vital role in contributing to our vision "Everyone is always included." This vision is based on the pedagogical, social, and physical environment where students should succeed in school and develop according to their unique abilities.
You are aware of the importance of adapting teaching to meet the needs and conditions of all students and are willing to take responsibility for both your teaching and collective matters at the school. A fundamental aspect of your work is always striving to create good relationships with students.
You are part of a work team and participate in the team's joint efforts. You contribute to a positive learning environment through active collaboration in working groups. Together, you focus on the students' knowledge development in relation to the vision. You also collaborate with other staff at the school.
You are committed to staying updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental monitoring, professional development, and collegial learning. Mentoring is a central part of your role, involving social contacts with students and classes, communication with guardians, absence management, and development conversations, as well as collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you will work with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed teacher in mathematics for grades 7-9.
Ability to work across subjects and familiarity with the curriculum, viewing it as a tool for planning your teaching. You have good structure in your teaching, where a clear goal and purpose of the lesson are communicated to the students. You have a clear start and end to the lesson and a varied content that engages students in learning, but you can also be flexible with lesson planning based on students' needs. You have tools for both summative and formative assessment. You are well acquainted with the opportunities of digitalization.

To begin working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must provide a criminal record extract. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority at www.polisen.se.
Those who do not provide a criminal record extract cannot be employed, contracted, or received in the organization according to current legal requirements.
