Ref: 20252738 We at Malmö Latin School are looking for a teacher for Latin instruction. The position is a temporary part-time role (20%) from January 7, 2026, to June 18, 2026. Join us and contribute to the future of Malmö residents and society. Responsibilities As a teacher, you will work to help students develop their full potential—both academically and socially. You will support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual circumstances. Your duties include planning, teaching, assessment, as well as evaluating and developing the educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents. We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you will be in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you will work to create a positive learning and working environment for both students and staff. You will also contribute to the quality and development efforts at the school. Qualifications Requirements: • Teaching certification • Qualification to teach Latin at the upper secondary level • Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy • Strong understanding of the school’s goals and governing documents • Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious: • Experience teaching Latin • Experience in other teaching or educational work. You adapt your teaching to the needs and prior knowledge of the student and the group through a creative approach and excellent pedagogical skills.
