About this role
Lerum Municipality is known for its scenic locations with lakes and forests. The municipality has 3,200 employees and 43,000 residents, but expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Lerum is only a 20-minute commute from Gothenburg and is currently facing a development-intensive period with many exciting projects underway, ranging from schools to housing. The municipality is committed to ensuring good service, high welfare, and a thriving business climate.
Dagens SamhÀlle has recently named Lerum the winner in the category of large urban municipalities (2025) - an award based on a comprehensive comparison of 290 Swedish municipalities in areas such as education, healthcare and social services, economy, culture and leisure, attractiveness, business environment, and future factors like digitalization and civil preparedness. We are now a Super Municipality!
Röselid School is a K-9 school with approximately 500 students. The school is located in GrÄbo, close to nature and lakes. Our school has dedicated, driven, and knowledgeable staff who place children, development, and learning at the center of their work. All development efforts are based on our prioritized areas of teaching quality, student health work, and self-leadership. We have clear forums where we collaborate to systematically improve our work with a focus on our students. The work teams are organized into K-3A and B, 4-6, and 7-9. Educators work together in their teams around groups in the different grades, based on process leadership and subject expertise. Each work team has a team leader, whose role includes serving as a link between management and the work team, highlighting overarching questions and thoughts from the team to management, as well as anchoring and creating understanding within the team for decisions made.
