School Description
Hedskolan is a three-track primary school (grades F-6) with adapted basic education. We have approximately 500 students and 100 employees. We are centrally located in Gällivare municipality within walking distance of the sports hall, swimming pool, etc. Hedskolan has a well-developed collaborative learning approach that covers all parts of the curriculum. We can therefore offer continuous skills enhancement with driven process leaders, PAX and IBIS instructors, and IT pedagogues. As a 4-6 grade teacher with us, you will work with students in the intermediate level.
Job Responsibilities
As a teacher, your starting point is to work with planning, teaching, evaluation, and value-based work based on the curriculum. The work is done both independently and together with colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach Physical Education and Health for grades 4-6. You need to be proficient with computers and technology in your daily work. You should be responsible, clear, and driven, with an ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Commitment, innovation, solution-focus, interest, and ability to collaborate are qualities the school values.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
A criminal record check is required for employment.
Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is an administrative district for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
Working Hours/Duration
Full-time, permanent position. Probationary employment may be applied.
