About the Position
Welcome to Tybblelundsskolan! We are currently seeking a licensed recreation center teacher who wants to become part of our school. Here, you will work together with many qualified and committed recreation center teachers, which creates good conditions. We value team collaboration as work occurs in grade-level teams with a full-day perspective where cooperation is crucial. We believe we can learn from each other and develop together, which is why we focus on collegial learning in all teams. The school has a well-developed recess program and schoolyard learning.
Example Work Tasks:
• Work to ensure student safety, influence, and participation
• Teaching in recreation center and during school day in classrooms
• Individually and with other pedagogues, plan, implement, and evaluate instruction
• Plan recreation center activities based on curriculum chapter 4
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop instruction and use methods leading to increased goal achievement
• Adapt instruction based on group and individual student needs and prerequisites
Qualifications
As a recreation center teacher, it's important that you have strong collaboration skills, listening and communication abilities, and contribute to a calm and secure school environment. You are skilled at motivating others, have creative thinking, and can easily lead activities. You should have knowledge of child development and learning, ability to adapt instruction to group and individual student needs, and capacity to independently take responsibility and structure your tasks.
Requirements:
• Teaching license for recreation center, or qualifying exam for teaching license
Preferred:
• Previous experience as recreation center teacher
• Training in guiding interaction (ICDP)
• Experience working with visual support
