Your Mission
We are now seeking an After-School Program Teacher at Sandarne School.
In the role of After-School Program Teacher, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for ensuring that instruction stimulates students' development and learning by focusing on their needs, interests, and experiences.
The position at the after-school program is combined with a school teaching position, and you will be part of a team that regularly plans and evaluates the activities. Together, you will work to provide students with the best conditions for learning and development.
Key principles in activity planning are student influence and participation. You will also be involved in managing the school's recess activities.

Sandarne School is a preschool to 6th-grade school located approximately 7 kilometers south of Söderhamn's city center. Currently, about 140 students attend the school, of which approximately 80 students also attend our after-school program, Skärgårn. The number of employees is approximately 20. The school was built in 1919 and has a fantastic view of the Söderhamn Bay. The indoor environment is bright and pleasant with its large windows facing the water.
Your Competence
We are seeking a licensed teacher specializing in after-school programs. Previous experience working in after-school programs and schools is meritorious.
As an after-school program teacher at Sandarne School, it is important that you are a stable, secure person with good self-awareness. You are self-driven, take responsibility for your tasks, can adapt to different situations, and always consider the broader perspective.
Furthermore, you easily work with other people, have the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and resolve any conflicts constructively. As a person, you are calm and accommodating, with a great interest in helping others. You communicate clearly and ensure that messages are understood and expectations are clear for all involved.
