Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a licensed after-school teacher for our after-school activities. The tasks involve creating and developing a quality after-school program that inspires and challenges students in their knowledge, social, and personal development. As an after-school teacher, you will be responsible for the pedagogical planning of your after-school unit together with licensed colleagues. The work also involves close collaboration with other after-school staff such as recreation leaders and teaching assistants. The role includes responsibility for systematic quality work for after-school activities, which shall be based on national governing documents and the central content for after-school programs. During school hours, you will support students in their knowledge development and ensure they feel secure in the learning environment. Support can be provided in various forms and always based on students' needs. This may include teaching based on subject qualifications, complementary support to regular instruction, and practical work to complement theoretical learning. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed after-school teacher. Experience or training for students with neuropsychiatric disorders is meritorious. We are looking for someone who, in addition to being licensed, enjoys collaborating with colleagues, understands that adults at the school create the conditions for safety, which in turn creates conditions for learning.
