Your role You will work to support children's development and provide them with opportunities for various leisure activities, as well as develop their social skills and knowledge. At Linnéskolan, after-school teachers also work in the school in various ways based on our students' needs. This may involve supporting students during breaks or leading break activities. It may also mean stepping in to support in classrooms. This creates a bridge between after-school care and school, providing students with security, support, and a sense of wholeness. We are looking for a qualified after-school teacher who is driven by the opportunity to influence students' development in after-school care in close collaboration with other colleagues at the school. Experience working as a teacher in after-school care and in primary school is an advantage. As an after-school teacher, you should have strong communication skills, be proactive, possess good collaboration abilities, and be able to connect with people. We expect you to have good IT skills and a strong ability to collaborate with children, guardians, and your colleagues. About us The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. Linnéskolan consists of both a school for grades F-9 and after-school care for students up to grade 6. The school has approximately 400 students.
