Job Responsibilities Working as an after-school teacher is about creating a safe and stimulating environment where students can develop, play, and learn. • Planning and Teaching: You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating activities based on the curriculum and school goals. This involves leading instruction that promotes students' imagination, interaction, movement, and creativity. • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, student health teams, other staff, and guardians. It's important to be able to work in teams and contribute to a positive work environment. • School Support: The position also involves supporting students in the classroom during school hours. • Creating Safety and Routines: You will help establish clear routines and frameworks that give students a sense of security. Additionally, you should leverage students' needs, interests, and experiences to make the after-school program meaningful.
