At Hovåsskolan, approximately 580 students attend from preschool class to year 9.
We also have a leisure-time center with four departments and an adapted primary school. Hovåsskolan is located near the sea and forest. We utilize nature during both lesson time and leisure activities.
As a leisure-time teacher, you will become part of the team responsible for activities in the leisure-time center of the adapted primary school. The work includes significant value-based work developing children in social contexts. You will also work in school activities during school hours alongside class teachers in the adapted primary school. This involves co-planning, implementing, and evaluating school and leisure-time activities.
We work in teams, and for us, job satisfaction and collaboration are key principles. Together, we aim to create a holistic view of student development and learning.
Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed leisure-time teacher. It is meritorious if you also have experience in:
•Working in leisure-time centers
•Organized outdoor activities/recess activities
•AAC and experience/knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective approach
•Working in adapted primary schools or special teaching groups for students with functional variations
You have an interest in creating a school with us where students feel safe and curious, developing their abilities under good conditions. As a person, you have an inclusive approach and meet each child based on individual circumstances and needs. We desire someone pedagogical who encourages dialogue, participation, and engagement, and wants to help develop our leisure-time center in the adapted primary school. You have the ability to create trust and confidence with both children and their parents.
