Every child and student in Sundsvall Municipality's preschools and schools should be able to develop, learn, and reach their goals according to their own conditions. Each student should be able to leave school with the will, knowledge, and good conditions to meet adult life and the future. Bosvedjeskolan is a preschool-6th grade school with approximately 300 students. The school is located in the middle of the Bosvedjan residential area and has a pleasant outdoor environment with a football field, ice rink, and proximity to illuminated trails and forest. The indoor environment is bright and newly renovated. At Bosvedjeskolan, there is good collaboration between teachers and after-school personnel, where we together contribute to the development of both students and ourselves. The after-school program consists of two departments: Skogen for preschool-1st grade and Berget for 2nd-5th grade. After-school staff work in a joint team that meets once a week. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an after-school teacher responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation of both their own teaching and the overall after-school activities. You will be responsible for recess and after-school activities in collaboration with your colleagues and ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with curriculum intentions. During school hours, you will be part of the preschool class. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a certified after-school teacher. It is important that you are a confident adult with good leadership skills. You see relationships and relationship-building as a foundation in your work and are adept at creating and maintaining good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are attentive, cooperative, and a good role model for our students. The work team is an important resource, and it is obvious to you to contribute positively to solving joint tasks. Dialogue with colleagues is significant, and guidance from special education teachers or pedagogues is part of the work. You have experience working with students with special support needs.
