About this role
Teacher in After-School Care and Resource Work for Grades F-6
Imagine a school that is open to everyone.
A school where curiosity, innovation, and closeness are fundamental values. Where every student can be who they are, and together we cultivate dreams, develop ideas, and create a belief in the future.
We have Sweden's most important job – and we take it very seriously. The Learning Administration is now seeking a teacher in after-school care for Enånger School's after-school program and resource work for grades F-6. The position is a permanent employment with a start date to be agreed upon – preferably as early as spring 2026.
About the Workplace
Enånger School is a small and welcoming F–6 school with approximately 80 students, located about 23 kilometers south of Hudiksvall. Here, you will encounter a warm village school environment where everyone knows each other, and where students are at the center.
The school is situated in nature – with forests, the sea, a football field, a school forest, an ice rink, and ski trails literally around the corner. Our students are curious and eager to learn, and the outdoor environment provides fantastic opportunities for learning, movement, and play throughout the year.
We work in mixed-age groups in F, 1, 2–3, and 4–6, which fosters close and natural collaboration across grades. As a smaller school, we value close collegial cooperation – we support each other and create together the security that our students need.
To fulfill a full-time position, the role includes work in after-school care, teaching in another subject based on qualifications, and possibly working as a resource in teaching during the school day.
We place great emphasis on relational leadership, joyful learning, and clear pedagogy. Here, we work with curiosity and heart to understand how our students learn best. Collegial learning and positive interactions characterize our everyday life.
The school also has a close collaboration with Njutånger School, eight kilometers away. Together, we share leadership and parts of student health – a secure structure that provides good opportunities for development and joint work.
