About this role

Häggenås School is seeking a Leisure Teacher Häggenås School, serving grades F-6 with approximately 100 students, is part of the Lit school district, which also includes Treälvsskolan F-9 with around 360 students and Bringåsen School F-6 with about 60 students. Together, we can make a difference every day! Your new job As a leisure teacher, you will support students' development and learning. You will assist students throughout the day, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how each student and the group functions both during school hours and in leisure activities. Your responsibilities will include conducting teaching in the leisure center. You will be responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up. Collaboration with the rest of the team and the home is essential to ensure that students have the opportunity to develop as much as possible. Adapting the activities to meet the diverse needs of all students is a significant and important task. The position may also involve teaching a school subject depending on qualifications and expertise. Your qualifications Requirements • Certified leisure educator/primary teacher in leisure centers. • You have strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious • You have a good understanding of the governing documents for leisure centers and can apply these in daily work. • You have a strong interest in developing teaching and supporting students in their learning processes. • Your view of students aligns with the values and intentions of the curriculum. • You have a keen interest in pedagogical challenges and are willing to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development. • Previous professional experience is an advantage. • Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disorders or students in adapted primary schools is beneficial, as collaboration with the school's other activities occurs regularly. You are flexible and can find new solutions. You are self-driven and confident in your pedagogical leadership, with a strong ability to build relationships with both students and colleagues.
